Dr. Timmermans specializes in international trade, investment and business law (including Public Private Partnerships) and, also, international commercial arbitration. He is on the list of arbitrators of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration and the Maritime Arbitration Commission (Moscow), both attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the London Court of International Arbitration, the Ukrainian Court of International Commercial Arbitration, the German DIS (Deutsches Institut für Schiedsgerichtbarkeit), and VIAC (Vienna International Arbitration Centre).
